Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure food is prepared quickly and efficiently during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Properly store food and label ingredients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Basic understanding of food safety practices.
- Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting up to ~50 lbs).
